1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, purchasing, or utilizing ShubhScroll's digital wedding invitation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not consent, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Service Scope

ShubhScroll provides customizable, mobile-optimized smart wedding invitation websites tailored for Indian matrimonial traditions, including but not limited to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, South Indian, Muslim, Christian, and interfaith ceremonies. Services encompass template selection, content integration, secure deployment, RSVP management, and optional post-wedding gratitude pages.

3. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

3.1 Proprietary Platform & Source Code

ShubhScroll retains exclusive, worldwide, and perpetual ownership of all underlying source code, backend architecture, frontend frameworks, UI/UX components, template systems, databases, scripts, styling assets, and platform infrastructure. Purchase, subscription, or use of our service does not constitute a transfer of copyright, patent, trademark, or proprietary rights to any code or technical assets.

3.2 Limited Display-Only License

Upon payment and deployment, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, display-only license to utilize your customized wedding invitation website solely for the purpose of showcasing your matrimonial details to guests during the agreed service period. This license explicitly excludes:

• Ownership of, or access to, the underlying codebase
• Permission to download, reverse-engineer, scrape, clone, fork, or redistribute the website structure or assets
• Rights to host, migrate, or deploy the invitation code on external servers or third-party platforms

3.3 User-Submitted Content

You retain full ownership of all photographs, videos, names, event details, and personal data you provide. By uploading, you grant ShubhScroll a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license solely to host, render, and display this content on your invitation website for the service duration. This license terminates automatically upon data deletion per our Privacy Policy.

3.4 Prohibited Exploitation

Any attempt to extract, replicate, commercially exploit, or reverse-engineer ShubhScroll's codebase, design system, or platform mechanics outside the scope of this license constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate service termination and legal action under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

4. Delivery, Revisions & Go-Live

• Your invitation website will be deployed within the timeframe specified at checkout (typically 2–5 business days post-content submission).
• You will receive a secure preview link for approval. The site goes live only upon your explicit confirmation.
• Two (2) complimentary revision rounds are included. Additional modifications may incur standard service fees.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Accuracy, legality, and cultural appropriateness of all submitted information
• Securing your admin credentials and preventing unauthorized access
• Promptly notifying us of event date changes, venue shifts, or cancellations
• Holding necessary rights, consents, and releases for all uploaded media

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShubhScroll shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use
• Temporary downtime attributable to third-party hosting providers, DNS propagation, ISP routing, or force majeure events
• Guest access issues stemming from incorrect URLs, regional network restrictions, or legacy device incompatibility

Aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service package.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City, State]. We encourage good-faith resolution via written communication before initiating formal proceedings.

8. Termination & Data Purge

ShubhScroll reserves the right to suspend or terminate service access for material breach, non-payment, or legal compliance requirements. Upon termination, all user data will be purged per our Privacy Policy, and all display rights shall immediately revert to ShubhScroll.
